Grace And Mercy

Sometimes we get upset because we feel like we didn’t get something that we thought we deserved. Maybe we were overlooked for a promotion or maybe we led a project that someone else got the credit for. And that’s completely understandable, but there are other times where we deserved something that we didn’t want such as punishment for our some of the mistakes we've made in life. Somehow God's grace spared us. Its a marvelous thing that in most cases we don't get immediate punishment for some of the things we do. If we can be honest with ourselves we can examine our lives and see that things could have been much worse if it wasn't for the grace of God that saved our lives from hell. Grace is a wonderful thing because it does a great job at covering us so that we most gratefully don’t always get what we deserve. The law may say that we deserve punishment but grace tells us that we still have a chance. In this section we will explore some of the imperfections of some of the most known bible characters and how the covering of God’s grace helped them escape a much worse fate. This is not to use grace as an excuse to lead a sinful life. This is presented to hopefully gain your attention to lead a more personal relationship with God. Just like we have a love language, God has a love language and he tells us what that is. He says if you love me keep my commandment and his greatest commandment is to love him and to love people. If we love God we would honor God's purpose and will for our lives and if we loved people we wouldn't want to intentionally do them harm, we would want God's purpose and will for their lives.
